Born to French-Norwegian parents, he made his first turns on the slopes right next to the family’s hotel, l’Annapurna in Courchevel.
Skiing and the winter season have always been a part of his life.
When he was young, he took part in many different sports, including football and skiing. At 15, he made the choice to focus entirely on skiing, a choice that paid off considering his impressive list of victories!
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and his wife. He spends a lot of time reading and watching movies (especially on his many trips).
He became part of skiing legend when he joined the top 10 skiers who have won the most World Cups.
Already a multiple World and Olympic medallist, the 2023 World Championships will be a unique opportunity in his career and a major goal as he will be competing on home ground and racing in a place he knows by heart.
