Coralie Frasse Sombet, a smiling fighter

Born into a family from the Dauphiné, Coralie Frasse Sombet was immersed in the world of skiing from the age of five, when she joined the Chamrousse ski club. She was selected for the French team for a European Cup event at the age of 16 in 2007.

She joined the technical team of the French A team for the 2013-2014 season. However, her career comes to an abrupt halt when, in October 2013, she injures her knee and has to give up her season.

The 2016-2017 season is more mixed, Coralie Frasse Sombet enchains regular results, but she regrets bad first rounds that prevent her from making better results. The continuation of her season is taking place but the disappointments follow each other, especially in super-G. Her season continues to be with ups and downs but she gets her first World Cup podium in the parallel team slalom, and concludes it in the best way.

At the World Cup finals in Courchevel Meribel 2022, she finished 5th in the parallel team event. We are waiting for her at the 2023 World Championships to make the show on the piste!
