Loic Meillard, a passionate and talented skier.

Loïc’s family moved to Hérémence in the Valais when he was 12 years old so that he and his sister could be closer to the slopes.

He made his first World Cup start in Adelboden when he was only 19 years old and scored his first points a year later in giant slalom and even a first top 10 a week later in Kranjska Gora.

A talented skier, he quickly climbed the ranks, winning 3 medals at the 2015 Junior World Championships. Very successful in giant and slalom, he discovered the podium 2 days in a row in Saalbach in December 2018 at age 22.

In Cortina during the Worlds organized in 2021, he won 2 bronze medals (combined and parallel).

Considered one of the main favourites for the 2022 Olympics in three disciplines, he was eliminated in the combined slalom and giant slalom and finished the slalom in 5th place.

On the track of the Eclipse in Courchevel, he will have the opportunity to express himself fully and go for an even more beautiful metal in 2023!
