Mikaela Shiffrin is one of the greats in the history of skiing.
Mikaela Shiffrin, a native of Vail, Colorado, is the only skier in history to have won four consecutive world titles in one discipline.
She has already won the overall World Cup three times.
After a difficult personal period, she decided in the winter of 20/21 to focus solely on technical disciplines. She won again in the World Cup with panache during the giant race organized on the Emile Allais stadium in Courchevel in December 2020. She was very moved and showed an impressive mental power.
In Cortina during the last World Cup, she lined up in 4 races and obtained 4 medals. With 11 medals and 6 titles, she became the most decorated American skier at the World Championships.
After a complicated Olympic Games in Beijing, she concludes her World Cup season by winning the big crystal globe for the fourth time, thanks to a victory and a 2nd place in the speed events of the finals in Courchevel Meribel.
She is obviously very much expected at the 2023 World Championships.
At 25 years old, she became one of the greatest skiers in history.
