There has been a less-than-perfect start to the World Championships for the Italian resort due to unfavourable weather conditions. The combined, scheduled for Monday 8 February, was cancelled due to heavy snowfall.

Later in the day, the organisers (we’re thinking of you!) decided with the International Ski Federation to offer a different programme. Here it is:

– the Women’s Super-G is to be maintained on Tuesday 9 February, with a start put back to 1 p.m.

– the Men’s Super-G is postponed to Thursday 11 February, start at 11.30 a.m.

– the Women’s Combined is postponed to Monday 15 February.

The weather should become much better from the middle of the week, we hope this will result in some great races!
