THE RESORT OF COURCHEVEL
Since 1946, the municipality has been home to the tourist resort of Courchevel, within the largest ski area in the world: the Three Valleys. In winter, the tourist activity strongly increases the population (commune over-classified 40 000 to 80 000 inhabitants).
