Discover what’s on the programme for Thursday 16 February. From morning to evening, you can enjoy the festive atmosphere and all the entertainments on offer in both Courchevel and Méribel!

The women’s giant slalom will be the main event of the day on the Roc de Fer in Méribel. The giant slalom will start at 10:00am. You can attend the men’s giant slalom qualifications on the Emile Allais stadium in Courchevel at 10am.


This is located at the entrance to the Chaudanne site and here you can make the most of the Championships thanks to the numerous entertainments on offer. It opens at 8:30am and closes at 4:30pm. (The Spectator Village in Courchevel is closed today.)

Throughout the day in the Méribel village, you will find street entertainers (street theatre, stilt walkers, performers), music (batacuda, folk groups, street bands) as well as specially designed entertainments.

You can enjoy a drink or meal in the catering area within the village.

Details of today’s entertainment:

From 8:30am to 9:30am: a gentle wake-up call: Yoga speed vs slow by Manalaya

From 12:30pm to 2:00pm: live music in the catering tent by La Route des Tommes, les Tétralyrs, les Alluétaises (Savoyard groups & local associations)

The stands in the village :

Amongst the stands, you will discover one dedicated to sustainability, with educational workshops and presentations by environmental associations : Mountain Wilderness and PNV.

The following Official Partners of Courchevel Méribel 2023 will represented by stands in the spectator village: La Caisse d’Epargne Rhône-Alpes, Bonnneval Waters, l’AFTAlp et STEF, la Région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, l’Agence Savoie Mont Blanc, plus seven ski brands: Atomic, Bollé Brands, Dynastar, Head, Kästle, Rossignol and Salomon, and Méribel Tourist Office.

From 4:30pm, enjoy live music from L.E.J and a drink at the public bar close to the stage.


At 6:30pm, the women’s giant slalom medal ceremony takes place. 

At 7:15pm : bib draw of men’s giant slalom.

At 8:30pm : Film and conference in the auditorium of Meribel: “Skiing and outdoor activities in the mountains, all seasons: how to raise awareness and influence the evolution of practices?


Every day from 5:30pm  to 11:00pm, you can find an ephemeral village in the heart of Brides-les-Bains thermal park! Programme: concerts, entertainment and Savoyard tastings.
